Our Week in Pictures

A summer cold had many of us laying low for a bit.....



We are still unpacking and still loving our views...

Adjusting to the new life

A few pictures from our weekend. Vanessa loves the new couch and snuggling up with me on it, she is also mesmerized by the microwave! Elizabeth and Kathryn both got their hair cut and are now ready for school to start. We made homemade cinnamon rolls and watermelon for brunch today. You can see how little was left.

    

Getting settled

We are slowly starting to get things organized here at Distillery Lane. There is still so much to haul up here and unpack but we took a day off to just be as a family.





We were able to get my kitchen up and running. Fresh bread rising in the window sill makes me happy.



And we had our first visitor stop by, so all in all a good week.

Moving Week

Can I just say upfront I hate moving. I hate boxing things up, loading things on the truck only unload them and unbox them and find new homes. There are moments I enjoyed but for the most part its, tiring, stressful, emotional work but at the end of the day, the view is so worth it...
